Diane, again its good that you had excellent service ; ) However, if you read through posts on this forum you will see where others have ordered brewers from the site that were not working properly, and experienced frustrations trying to replace the brewers. That can happen any where, whether it be stores or direct site. However, if having a defective machine, I think I would rather just be able to go to the store and replace it, quick and neat, without having to deal with long distance calls, waiting for shipping labels, etc. etc.

So what are you saying, in order to get a quality machine we have to order directly from Tassimo?

Even if that were true, what a poor way for Kraft to do business.

It seems as though you think restricting the Tassimo brewer and its coffees to only their website is what is going to make the Tassimo a successful product. No reasonable consumer would ever buy a product like that or expect what they buy in the store is junk.

I have had my machine for a little over a year with NO issues. I did not buy mine from a store. I got mine online from Tassimo. my friend got hers from BBB, and has had the same issues as all of you. She returned hers to BBB and has purchased another online from Tassimo. That was 6 months ago. She has not had a problem since.

I have a T45. One evening I notices some grounds in my coffee. On another brew coffee was coming out of the top of the lid. I examined the piercing unit and cleaned it. This problem persisted; coffee and grounds were all over the place.

I brought my 'bot back to BBB along with my reciept. With no questions asked, they simply exchanged my old 'bot with a new T45.

I just want to mention that when I said that the disc exploded, it was not a violent explosion. It was more like discs that sprayed coffee and grounds out normal brew flow.

What is this business about exploding discs?

I've got the T65. It makes me nervous about exchanging my brewer for some tech issues for a worse problem.

Doug,
if you bought with a Debit / Credit card, the stores should also be able to get you a copy of your receipt if you narrow down the date of purchase.

I've done this at many stores because I am very bad at keeping receipts. Also, I would try giving a try to CS via email.

It seems that you need to speak Tagalo to communicate with CS. LOL. Best wishes and hope you don't give up on the BB.

Fingers and toes crossed for you. It seems like discs exploding is in the news again. What model T do you own???? If mine blows up, then I'm definitely switching. Not to Keurig, possibly the Cuisinart which I think brews a better cup of coffee than the regular Ks, but maybe to the Dolce Gusto Creativa.

I called Tassimo misDirect. I spoke with someone who barely could speak English. After about five tortuous minutes she said that I should bring my 'bot back to BBB for an exchange.

I just hope that I can find the receipt.
