Carte Noir is a European coffee. They tend to drink coffees either in very small cups or with lots and lots of milk. Very different from the way most Americans enjoy their coffee.

Try the Carte Noir. They are a dark, more full bodied coffees. However they are only 120ml. About 4 oz. Good, but a bit too small.

@ Wolfsatz right now I've tried the Gevalia Morning Blend, but I will try the Maxwell Breakfast. Really is it so bad, usally I don't like coffee which I can see the bottom of the cup.
You all will laugh, if I told you what my husband said about my taste.
"Wait a week, and try again, that's just the hormones which let you taste the coffee too strong" that is what he told me.
But thanks anyway

You are so right Bekka, that is the point, everyone prefered another thing and all the tastes are diffrent. My last single Brewer was a Senseo and the small cups was for me right, but this was in Germany not here. I like to have the opportunity to brew coffee, cap or latte.
Here I brew my coffee with Springwater or Osmosis Water and the same with the Tassimo now. I already orderd now the Gevalia mild and Jacobs until I get it I'll enjoy the Cappuccino Primo and the Latte.

GP, What variety of Gevalia do you have?
I think all the coffees that I like would be quite strong for your likings. Have you tried the Maxwell House Breakfast Blend? That is one of the mildest almost tea like coffees in the Tassimo range.
You can also press the brew button to add some water after the normal brew time to extend and lighten the brew.

Germanpie, you point out how relative coffee taste can be. To you Gevalia is too strong, whereas to me Gevalia is too weak ; ) This is totally normal that we all have preferences and one drink is not necessarily good or bad, its all good, but that we are just going to naturally gravitate towards what we enjoy. In my opinion, any brewer we invest in should have the ability to brew what drinks customers enjoy, whether it be by a wider selection of drinks and/or a reuseable disc. I'd trade with you but unfortunately G and MH are just in my range of preferences for coffees. There are several members who enjoy both, so someone may jump into this trade. And yes, Europe has much more variety, and raspberry tea. I think the majority of us would be very happy to see those T-discs offered in the states and have voiced this for a very long time. So far Kraft/Tassimo has not fully responded to the many requests with a yes or a no.
