Woo Hoo! The Mastro Lorenzo is one of my favorites. You almost feel like you are in Rome.

Hello everyone,

My first machine arrived this morning and I've already cranked out 3 Milka hot chocolates for the boys, a Gevalia cappucino for my wife, and a Mastro Lorenzo crema for myself. Awesome!

My crema had more flavor than every cup of Keurig I've ever had COMBINED! Seriously.

Very happy and can't wait to brew up some more goodies this evening!

KrisG,

Thanks for the information. I guess waiting for this morning (when I'm rush to get out the door) to use my Tassimo for the first time was not a good idea. I had time to do more reading and it looks like once the manual light comes on (when you cant tell it to add more water) the machine is done brewing.

I agree with you that information about the expected cup size should be easier to find.

Then again...the machine does make a great cup of coffee!!

I got a 28-300mm lens. It's amazing.

Congratulations on the Milka! lol I hear a lot of good things about it. So far I've not given it a try... just Suchard.

Amenqual,
Not sure of the exact output of that drink, however, I do know that there are only two t discs that produce 12 oz...the Maxwell House Café Collection Morning Blend and the Gevalia Morning Roast. The 12 oz serving size is marked on the packaging as well as the t discs. Everything else produces less. So your experience with the Starbucks sounds right. Most of the European brands produce much smaller cups and the cremas are 4-5 oz.

Wouldn't it be great if output size was printed somewhere on the website or on the packaging so people would know what to expect especially new users who might be wondering if there machine is working properly or not.

New member here. This morning I made my first cup of coffee using Starbucks morning blend. The coffee was fantastic but I was expecting a travel mug (12-16 oz) size and ended up with a regular ~11 oz cup of coffee. Is this the righ size for the coffee or did I not let it complete brewing?

I just got mine today and just downed my first cup o'joe! This machine is so stinking cool! I don't know why I waited so long to indulge myself.....I did a research paper on the Tassimo when I took marketing in college when it first came out (2004?). I really wanted one at the time but I had other financial priorities :)

I am so glad I did not fall for the Senseo or the Keurig hype and lower prices. I always knew that only a Tassimo would satisfy me!

I have sort of gone crazy ordering Tdiscs from amazon so I think I am set for awhile.

I'm right there with you. I've had mine less than a week and don't know how I got along without it. I live alone and it's so much more convenient than brewing a whole pot of coffee just for me. Plus I'm able to have such variety on hand. I had the family over for Christmas and in a matter of minutes made 2 cups of coffee, a latte and hot chocolate. Yeah baby!

I'm literally hooked. I can't wait to use it at times. I'm like a kid with a new toy. I made the hot chocolate last night for my son and he went nuts for it. I almost got it trouble with the wife for burning through so many discs at one time. So I had to make her a latte to calm her down. Enjoy!

I was first introduced to Tassimo this summer, by my boyfriend's parents. They love their Tassimo and upon realizing how easy it was, I began to as well.

Then, my mom came for a visit and fell in love with the Tassimo. She, of course, promptly bought herself one, but I was still Tassimo-less.

Not anymore though. :) I finally got my very own and am thrilled. Just made my first latte with it this morning.
