I doubt they would be, especially if you make sure to clean your machine after every use as specified in the owner's manual.

I have done everything that is suggested but I am still having problems with the milk not dispensing all the way. I own all the brands...maxwell house, starbucks, gevalia and it does this on all of them. I just run it through for a few seconds after it is done. This releases the rest of the milk. However, I hope that the drippings of milk are not hurting my machine.

Excellent example, Bekka.

I have had the same good results with my newer Bosch vs my older braun model. Much better results -- more froth and more complete release of the milks -- with my Bosch. However, I have seen the occasion of this happening with my newer office bosch. A co- worker recently placed the expresso disc in the Tassimo and instead of waiting for the yellow light to come on, she flipped up the top when it was on the right green light where you can add more water. She just figured it was close enough to have gone through all the steps or cycles, unless you wanted more water added. She didn't so she ended the process there. She also didn't shake the primo milk disk first but immediately placed the milk disc in the holder to make, then again flipped up the top just before the yellow light came on. Well that one didn't disperse all the milk in the T disc and what a mess of milk was left on the shelf with the bar code. We let the machine cool down and did another primo cappucino shaking the milk discs and fully waiting for yellow light to come on with both the expresso and the milk disc and no milk was left behind in the T-disc and just a few drips on the shelf. Not sure just which of the factors led to this happening, but the T-discs were from the same package. Later just to check this further and because I am overly curious too. I did what she did, didn't wait for the yellow lights to come on & didn't shake the milk, the same thing happened; milks left behind in the T-discs and a mess on the shelf, so it was replicated. In "some" cases, patience may indeed be a virtue LOL.

Hi, Fellow Tassimo-lovers! I have the Braun Tassimo machine which was purchased in 2006, and I just purchased the new Bosch Tassimo machine almost two weeks ago.
I have also been having problems with the milk disc for the Starbucks Latte Primo and the Maxwell House Cappucino milk disc having milk still left in the disc. This is happening on my older Braun Tassimo machine. I haven't had a problem with the milk discs in the new Bosch Tassimo machine so far, but I did have one instance where the Starbucks Expresso disc created a mess when I brewed that one. Since the milk disc problem has also occured with the Maxwell House brand on my older Tassimo, I thought it might be something having to do with the older machine. I was curious which machine you guys are using that's having the problem.
The new Bosch Tassimo machine is really nice, much quieter than the Braun machine, although my drinks are coming out somewhat stronger than on my older machine. Also, regarding the milk T-disc problem, I have not had this problem with the Maxwell House Latte milk disc on my older Tassimo machine.

Contacted Tassimo, they are shipping me a replacement of Starbucks Latte's. I will try to remember to come back and post after I have received them. The representative at Tassimo told me to save one of the current Starbucks Latte's and to try one of the new shipment and one of the old and see what happens.
Two weeks until I get my new coffee. I will post my findings after I try both the old and new.

We are having the same problem. We make Cappuccino Primo Latte's and the milk does not dispurse completely and makes a mess inside the machine. We own 2 machines one at home and one at our office. I just brought our home machine into the office and we just made 4 latte's, 2 on each machine.
The problem that we are having on both machines is that the milk is not dispensing completely and it is also dripping inside the machine.
I have cleaned both machine before making the latte's with the T-Disc.
I have determined that the problem is the Milk Creamers from Starbucks. I am going to contact both Tassimo & Starbucks to see how to resolve this problem. I will try to post my findings.

And that's what you should be doing :D It says in the manual to clean after every use. By doing that, you will get optimum performance from your machine and ensure it stays in working order for a long time to come.

I press the "add water" button when it gets to that point in the cycle and there's no milk left in cup after that!!
And I also clean it every day. If I'm making 2 or 3 drinks I clean it after all are done. If I make only 1 I still clean it right away.

Others have said they have the best luck by cleaning the piercing unit after each milk disc, and shaking up/warming up the milk disc before use.

not dispensing all of the milk

This has happened with different brands. The machine indicates that it is finished. When taking out the milk disc, there is still like half of the milk left in it. What is wrong?
I drink a capaccino every morning. Do I have to run water through it after each drink? Thanks!
