Well, my product arrived - not exactly stellar service, but it did show up and they didn't send be a bogus shipping date. It's been so long that I actually forgot I had ordered it!!

Order was placed on March 24th, credit card charged on March 26th, and order arrived on April 21st - apparently it takes a month (4 weeks) to get from Toronto to the east coast.

Whatever - at least I can get my decaf espresso without crossing the border now, and Skinny Lattes are available in stores close to me. All is good!!!!

I just got an email last night from the Tassimo Canada website saying that their e-store is up and running - it was out of stock around Christmas and had a very limited selection of product to choose from if and when it was ever in stock again.

I have placed an order and will report on their delivery standards. I'm hopeful that it's better than the US site, because I actually got a person on the phone who could answer a question without taking my name and phone number first!!!

Selection of t-discs has improved greatly in the last few months - 29 varieties of them including decaf espresso, skinny latte, crema, and teas. Brands range from Nabob to Gevalia to Mastro Lorenzo, Carte Noire and Jacobs. The only thing I can see missing is Milka hot chocolate but since I don't like that, I don't really care!!

The one negative is that there is no "free shipping" threshold - shipping charges are set and charged no matter how large your order is - it starts at $8.95 for 3 packages and goes up from there. But since I haven't been able to find some of what I want in stores, and others are available only online, it's worth the premium to me!!!
