Pressure builds up in the disks as well, so the extra time at the end really is a safety measure.

The brew is finished once you reach the "add more" cycle, but yes, it does wait a bit to see if you want to add more and also for the disc to cool down for removal.

I just got my Tassimo T65 the other day and it seems like it takes a long time to brew.
It stays on the push button to add more part of the cycle for a long time.
Is this normal?
