Yeah, I would be happy to be a beta tester for this is someone made it :). I was hoping there would be a model with this functionality out by now......

Very interesting ideas! I'll be sure to send them upwards. =)

How about an LCD or even a USB/Program interface that allows you to customize how the maker interprets the bar codes on the T-Discs. For instance, I would like all my espresso discs to go for 1.5 times the standard (I always have to watch the lights and press for extra and sometimes I just can't stand there).

In fact, it would be great to have one button that allows you to select one of say 4 modes. 1 is the default interpretation and then the other 3 are custom modes so 2 or 3 people in the house could set up the maker to their preferences. When they are about to insert a T-Disc(or after but before they hit 'brew') they select their mode.

Then instead of using the default for espresso or milk or whatever the T-Disc is, that mode looks to see if there is a custom interpretation of that T-Disc for that mode/user. If there is, it uses it, if not, it gives them the default interpretation.

I would definitely pay extra for something that allowed that, either programming through buttons on the machine, or if Bosch or whatever maker provided a PC/Mac program that allowed you to save to a SD card or USB and then have the maker read it in. Either way I would be happy!!!!
