who are the others we can order from?? It is a shame that we are having to beg Tassimo to take our money isn't it? I received a call on Wednesday the 10th from an executive rep who promised me my order that was to have shipped in early March would ship within the next few days but tonight when I checked the website it shows a ship date of March 19th go figure. I tried calling her back but I quess they are not open this late on Saturdays so I will keep trying to reach her. But, someone please post the website names of the companies in Canada and Europe that carry T Discs.

Well, if its out there even internationally, it makes absolutely no sense that already available products in T discs are not readily available here. You know, for a long time I've tried to be very positive and I do love my Tassimo(s). But sometimes I have to chuckle and this thought just creeps in. I envision the business end of products being run by executives' very young children [and I'm thinking younger than 12 yrs]. Because otherwise, this just doesn't make sense that what could be very profitable isn't being expanded on.:O The maturity and wisdom is definitely missing here

Not from the other Tassimo sites--but from certain other European and Canadian vendors.

> "why should we have to?"
Because Kraft doesn't react quickly to consumer demand? ;)

I did note that in their latest 10K filing that Tassimo growth was good (offsetting Gevalia declines--no doubt due to K-Cup and other single service competition). Maybe if the Tassimo user base grows they will wise up.

Otherwise users will leave in droves.

I like my Tassimo unit, but I will *not* be replacing it if it breaks unless Kraft shows that they will improve customer service and product availability.

Coffee pods are an attractive alternative.

I sent an email to Tassimo UK about shipping to USA today but am waiting on a reply. It seems that Tassimo USA is always out of stock or discontinuing all the european coffee and I know it cant be because everyone only wants Gevalia, Maxwell House, Starbucks or Seattles best. I DONT GET IT!!!!

I found another German company that will ship to the US.
http://www.worldofsweets.de

Shipping is 40€ for up to 10kg (22 pounds); expensive for small shipments, but maybe okay for large purchases.

Thanks for the info! My eyes first zoomed to the 84€ price, but then I realized that I'd have to order a LOT to reach that weight lol. (31.5 kilograms = 69.4456126 pounds)

Luckily, I am fluent in German.

That was from an e-mail they sent me today. It looks like they just copied from the Deutsche Post/DHL site, though (because those prices are the same as they are there).

AustrianGrocery.com has a lot of international shipping experience, and they can get better rates because of their international volume. They also confirmed to me that to assure freshness they don't warehouse their products; the best by dates would be at least six months out (often more). The overall selection is better at about-tea.de, though.

I tend to agree about using austriangrocery.com also because they don't seem to have the language issue.

I see you checked out about-tea.de further. The only communication I've had with them is by email when I asked if they shipped to the US. They confirmed that they would, shipping DHL.

Did you get that from their website? They told me in the email that a 2kg package would be about 22€. Either way, it would be worth it to me to get some of the items we can't get domestically. They seem to have a little bit more as far as product but I wonder about any potential problems because of the language barrier.

kaffee.net only ships to Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
http://www.shop.kaffee.net/Liefer-und-Versandkosten_i5_x4.htm

raidy.co.uk ships to the US, but their shipping costs aren't listed.
About-Tea.de doesn't mention the US in their list of international costs (mostly Europe, but Australia (@55€ shipping!) is listed).
http://www.about-tea.de/versandkosten.php
BritSuperStore ships to the US, but the costs seem quite high.

So far, austriangrocery.com seems to have the best combination of product price and shipping cost/availability to the US. Don't forget that the VAT is included on the default listed prices on the site, but when you change your destination to the US it disappears. (In Austria, coffee is subject to 20% VAT!) Some of the prices on the site are the same as the Austrian retail prices, some are a little higher.
