Customer service should be able to help you if your box of discs were bad. The other recommendations about cleaning your machine and vigorously shaking the milk discs are good.

The number for customer service is 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271).

i believe you received a bad batch of tdiscs ..
are you shaking the milk before you brew it?
it helps to clean the piercer and the barcode reader before making another latte/capp drink.

I called Tassimo and they told me to exchange my machine for a new one at BB&B...and guess what, the same thing happens. Some discs dispense almost all the way (90%) and some only dispense 1/3. Programming issue is my guess.

This is exactly what happens to me. I hope the drippings of milk is not harming my machine.

Check the FAQS for your unit here, but if the answer isn't there and you've exhausted all of your ideas, then call 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271).

I commented in the other forum about the milk disc problem,
but i'll comment again.

I'm having the milk disc problem on my older Tassimo Braun machine with the Starbucks Latte Primo milk disc and the Maxwell House Cappucino milk disc. No problems with the Maxwell House Latte milk disc.

I also have a brand new Bosch Tassimo machine that I just purchased almost two weeks ago. So far, no problems with any of the above-mentioned milk discs, except for one time when the Starbucks Latte Primo Expresso disc created a mess. Now I'm wondering if this might have something to do with the piercing unit on my older Tassimo machine???

P.S. My dad has the Braun Tassimo, and while I was staying with him over the holidays and using his Tassimo machine, that's when I first started having the problems with the milk discs. Then when I got home, I started having the same problems with the milk discs on my Braun Tassimo machine.

It is definitely not the piercing unit. My unit is brand spankin new. I have tried starbucks, gevalia and maxwell house. All the creamers do not dispense fully. Some leave 50% in the disc. I have no doubt its a programming issue. I think Tassimo needs to adjust the timing. I simply fix it now by pressing the add water button 2-3 secs to empty the creamer. However, I don't think I should have to do this every time.

On the creamer dripping all of the place problem. I noticed that if you close the piercing unit first (the main body of the lid), even the slightest bit ahead of the outer lever (silver piece), the milk drips every where when you open it upon completion, but if you close the main body lip and the outer sliver lever at the same time, the creamers don't drop in the cavity. I tried this both ways several times and it always held true.

You are right, having tried every thing you mentioned it doesn't sound like the T-discs are at fault. Did you try a new piercing unit??? Have you called Customer Service?

all of the milks and I shake the heck out of them before putting them in the machine. The unit is cleaned on a regular basis so that's not an issue. The cartridges are room temperature. I thinkit's just a poor design or poor programing.

Has happened with all of mine. But shaking seems to help it a small amount, also a quick burst of water through at the end tends to help too. It probably just has trouble doing a constant flow of water and pushing all the milk out. Possibly would've been better if they divided the milk output into 2 different streams of water. Stream one out, pause 2-3 seconds, then stream the rest out.

I'm really curious??? Yep, that's me! Which brand of milks does this happen with- Gevalia, Primos, Jacobs M.? Is it the lattes, the caps, or both? Are you shaking the bejeepers out of the cartridges before you place in the machine? Do you refrigerate your cartridges or are the cartridges room temp? Just questions because I'm curious ; )

I have this same problem. The milk creamer only dispenses 1/2 to 2/3s of the volume. I compensate for by hitting the button for 2-3 seconds during the add+ light. However, i'm wondering if this is an issue with the timing in the barcode program or is this an issue with the unit itself? My unit is brand new, so i can't imagine its a piercing unit problem....

You need to at least wipe the unit off after every milk or chocolate syrup disc.

I find it helps to shake the HECK out of the disc before using it. I tend to shake it vigorously while waiting for the espresso to brew... or maybe some hot water to run a cleaning cycle to heat up my mug (especially since I keep the heat way low, have the basement room in my apartment, and it's really cold recently) and then put the milk in. I also find it helps, when it gets to the "add more?" phase, to press the button about 1-2 seconds.. wait.. then press it 2-3 seconds and stop the instant the milk comes out. When I do this it never has much milk left in it.

Just be careful doing that to not hold it too long and start weakening the drink with too much water!

In your user guide, (you can find a pdf here), there are illustrations of where the piercing unit is. It can be removed and cleaned separately from the machine.

As for how often, others may be more helpful than me. I seldom use milk discs and when we do, I usually take the piercing unit out and clean it before I use it again. It's not a big deal.

You normally use the cleaning disk to run descaling liquid through the machine.
