No it is not just you, and if I burned through 3 machines, I'd have the same concerns. Not to mention, one would have to wonder about the safety of the coffee makers. Your posting is a valid concern and you have a right to be angry. I'm wondering if the design of the machines changed some where along the line? Did your coffee maker have the Bosch insignia? I've got two Boschs; the T-65 at home and the T-45 at work; and I've been fortunate that both work real well. I'd be happier if I had just a few more choices in coffee. I haven't had to deal with CS because I'm not a DD consumer. I don't like being tied into any business on a contractual basis, and that is my right as a customer. For those who live out in rural areas or have mobility problems, I'm sure DD is a blessing. For me there are plenty of stores in this area that carry at least a small selection of T disks, but the selections are very sparse to what I like in the taste of coffee. After reading all the postings about the limited ability of I believe isTassimo aka Gevalia DD CS to make good in a timely manner, I'm hoping I never have to go in that direction. Fingers and toes crossed. Ok, I'm off the track, but want to also say since Bosch designed our coffee makers, I would at least contact their customer service directly by pulling up the Bosch main site to let their customer service know of your concerns & experiences.

Seems to me from reading other posts here that it's not just me and where I plug in my Tassimo. Maybe, just maybe, it's the product! Still no excuse for rotten customer service and constant billing/shipping confusion and your apologies do no good now. No worries, won't be trying another Tassimo product so I don't need to look into your lame excuses for product failure. BTW, my new coffee machine is plugged in to the same outlet and in the same environment as the defective Tassimo was and everything is working just fine. Hmmmm

jwyatt00, I'm sorry you have had such a poor experience with Tassimo products and Customer Service. I know many members here seem to have units that chug along forever, so maybe there is a problem with your machines' environment, like power surges or some other electrical problem. Might be something to look into.

Don't buy any Tassimo product! Run now while you can. We are on our 3rd machine, which again is broken!! They seem to last just past the year warranty mark, coincidence?? Will not buy another Tassimo. My husband's office uses Keurig and no problems, and that is with the whole office using the machine 5 days a week! I have talked to the Tassimo customer service which gets me nothing but added frustration.

I have to say, I checked out the T-20 a second time and the machine is really cute. Bet it would look nice on the countertop, it definitely looks nice on display. Not flimsy at all. The cup holder is different than the T45 or t65, but it looks like its removeable so you can add a larger cup or small mug. I still can't tell if you can add a filter or not to the water tank. But I had the older Braun which my son now uses that did not have a filter. I used bottled purified water or ran water through a filtered container and it didn't steer me wrong. Its years old and still brewing coffee without having to have new parts. What's really neat about the cup holder on the T 20 is you can change the looks by using different colored cup holder sheaths, a really great concept to add interest or when changing your kitchen decor ; ) Also, there does appear to be signs that Tassimo overall is making changes. For the better in my opinion!!!! I looked under store locator and am seeing stores not listed before, not to mention a local grocery store and also Walmart super store. This is great news. I think our website is still undergoing renovations because the T-disks carried by the stores are not listed yet, and I plan to check some of the stores out this weekend. I see Tassimo has redesigned this site and I say "good for you Tassimo", nice job. My hopes for more choices have rekindled with all these changes popping up now. It only says, this is going to get better and better!!!!!! Tassimo already has the best single serve coffee maker, that has never been disputed. The quality of the coffee brewed in my opinion can't be beat. Things are looking very good for Tassimo right now!!!! Keep on doing Tassimo, you rock!!!

I don't know if MH skinny caps or Gevalia's skinny caps are totally sugar free and you are asking a great question. As the saying goes you can contact Customer Service and find out if the skinny cap milks are sugar free or maybe one of our members could check the ingredients on their skinny caps to see. Of course those aren't Lattes and I don't see that option with the latte T-disks. Consumers have been asking Tassimo for a long time for sugar free milk T-disks and/or soy for caps and lattes, etc to be sold separately. You can buy Gevalia expresso in separate packages w/o the milks, and buy an inexpensive hand frother to make your own Latte toppings. But it just seems so discriminatory that the offerings of decaff and t-disks for those who are lactose intolerant or as in your case diabetic, don't have a little more to choose from. I hope Tassimo has included into their consideration more production giving their customers more choices. Another consideration, I bought a froth au lait that I found has many uses besides making great flavored if you want caps and latte toppings. Actually fat free milk and soy whip up beautifully using the froth au lait, better than whole milks. My froth and sauce makes the best sauces [love bernaise], gravies, whipped cream, eggnog, and desserts such as a beautiful mousse. Doing this from scratch you can modify any of the recipes to conform with any food restrictions you might have. The recipe book that comes with this baby includes a wonderful recipe of Raj's Chai, and many other flavorful drinks you can modify to use with your Tassimo. Yummmmmmm. I always have it on my countertop because I use it all the time. The froths from this machine are very thick and last a long time. Great ratings on Amazon too. As far as the models of Tassimo goes. I have both the T-45 and T-65. I like the idea of using mauvea filters for a good tasting cup of coffee. Other than the light for the cup holder, and the LED display, there is really not much difference between the two models. I would opt for the cheaper T-45 and buy it from Bed, Bath, & Beyond using one of their coupons. If you sign on to their email list you can get a 20% off coupon making it more cost effective. What's even better is BBB is offering a rebate of $50 on the Suprema T45 red or silver machine from 10/1 to 12/30/10. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=16150584. This would bring the price down to approx. $90 with the 20% off. Off course not including tax. You can avoid shipping costs by shopping at a local BBB. There is also the newer model T-20. I dont know much about this newer model, but have seen displays. Its a nice looking countertop coffeemaker. Not quite as sturdy looking as the T-45, more compact, but it probably does the job just as well as the T-45. I don't know if this comes with a filter or not, but there are ways around this. Reviews on BBB are good. There is a $30 rebate and with 20% off you are looking at a cost of roughly $74.

I am thinking about getting a Tassimo, but I'm not sure which model would be best for me. I am a Starbucks latte addict, so I want something that makes lattes. My concern is that I'm a diabetic, and it looks like the lattes have sugar in them. Is there a way to make a latte sugar-free? Also, I was wondering if there's somewhere on the site that shows some kind of side-by-side comparison of the different models? It can be a little overwhelming. I may be over-thinking it...
Thanks!
