I have used the Tassimo (Bosch) for a quite a while with many different coffees. I also have used the most deluxe Keurig machine. My wife and I both believe the Tassimo makes better coffee but the choice is dwindling... sadly. Keurig, so far reliable, has a tremendous selection of coffee (no expresso, etc); however, all the coffees, even the extra bold, dark roasts made at the 5 oz size seem to be lacking something. A few are OK at 7 oz. but the 2 larger sizes are like weak tea. The "user your own grounds" holder makes very weak coffee compared to the same coffee in a drip machine. Perhaps, the Keurig brews too fast to extract some the important coffee characteristics. We do like full bodied, flavorful, not bitter or acidic coffee. Maybe a slow brewer cycle on the Keurig would improve the overall coffee quality.

i dont want to say this product is bad because it does make some good coffee, BUT kourig machine has soooo many more coffee flavors to choose from. tassimo dont have a real good variety and im kinda dissapointed. it would be nice if they had more of a selection to choose from.

I have wondered occassionally if I should have gotten the Keurig, but am overall pleased. I bought mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. There was a $50 rebate at the time and combining that with the 20% off coupon they always have, it came out to be a pretty good deal (about $75). I'm pretty happy with basic cappucino's and lattes, if you desire a large selection of beverages my recommendation would be the Keurig.

Might be too late for you but Bed Bath & Beyond has a very generous return policy. You could return it for almost any reason and they will give store credit at the very least.
If a friend wants one of these against your recommendations, insist that they get it at BBB and be prepared to return it.

I still do ok with my machine and drink selection so long as Sbux drinks remain available...

I have no doubt that the web hosts will pass this onto Tassimo central, a.k.a Chock Full of Nuts.

I don't understand what the problem is here. I like the Tassimo machine itself but I made the wrong choice. I should have gone Keurig. This is a total headache, not only are the T-discs not available anywhere, but the shipping at this website is atrocious. I ordered some coffee 2 weeks ago, and the UPS website still hasn't received the package. When I call up, all I can talk to are people who don't have the power to do anything.

I'm very upset with my purchase. Frankly, I wish I got a Keurig, the headache isn't worth a cappucino every once in a while. I would immediately get rid of this for a Keurig if I could.
