Hi Dusty, which model did you purchase? The Braun or Bosch and then which T model? 20, 45, or 65? Does your model have a mavea filter? What kind of water are you using? This happened to me one time, when I cleaned out my tank including the inner basket with the filter. After dish towel drying the two tanks, I refilled with bottled water and proceeded to make a cappucino. One part of the cap worked, but when I went to load the second, it stopped and the red light came on. I realized after the fact that I did not let the water fully seep into the bottom part so not enough water siphoned upward. If you have the two tanks and you first fill with water, it can look decieving like the water has filled both tanks, but if you let the tanks sit on your counter top for about 15 minutes, you can see it takes a while for all the water you added to seep downwards, and you may need to add more water until both tanks have water to the fill line without any airspace in the bottom. Just some thoughts.

We had to purchase a new Tassimo. This morning while brewing another Starbucks latte from the same package, the red light came up at the end of the brewing. I waited the 5 minutes after turning the machine off like the directions say, and the light had turned off.

This should not happen in my opinion. Tried to call customer service, and they're not open yet. This is when people are brewing coffee. ,-)

The Starbucks latte selections and machines sure don't seem to mix well. I"ll be darn if I want another machine to fry. I'm surprised we're the only once that have encountered this since this is now happening with a 2nd (and now new but getting an error not yet broken) Tassimo machine.

Hi Dusty.

This is the first mention on the forums that I've seen of this kind of activity from a Tassimo. Maybe a member will chime in with a similar problem, but you should try contact Customer Service to see if they can offer any assistance. The number is below in my signature.

We've had a Tassimo for a few years and like it a lot. However, this morning while despensing the milk our unit starting steaming and whistling a lot before just dying. Now we have no lights. Tried switching on and off. Tried moving to differenet outlet but nothing has brought it back to life. Is this the end for our unit or is there a fuse or something that might be out?
