My bosch t20 is broken out of the box. Water refill light doesn't go off. Called tech support and was hassled to provide an address. Who ever is john smith in zip 10018 they told me your address. Typical privacy protection. After 10 minutes of "your not getting my address" I was told that my machine was broken. Garbage support for what seems to be a garbage product. Funny they didn't even ask what model I have...

Now I'm going to travel through the snow to get some coffee?

Merry humbug...

Just to update anyone curious, I didn't try to fix the problem myself but instead returned it to Amazon and they shipped me a replacement in 2 days. (If only Tassimodirect were as quick a Amazon.) New machine works perfectly.

I'm not sure if your model comes with a filter, but if it does you need to let the filter sit in a deep utensil filled with water for at least an hour before fitting the filter in the tassimo tank. You may have already done this if you have a filter and if that is the case, your thoughts are probably right on or you have a defective machine. I wouldn't take it apart; its new and should be replaced w/o work on your part ; )

With much anticipation I opened my recent order for a TAS45 from Amazon and commenced with reading the instructions and going step by step through the initial cleaning process. Sadly I didn't get very far because after inserting the cleaning disk and closing the T-discs compartment, the "fill tank" light blinks constantly and the machine won't work. The green light is also on.

Here's what I've checked:
- the tank is full of water
- the float moves freely and floats to the highest position
- the tank is seated properly
- the spring valve at the bottom of the tank works properly
- some bubbles come through the valve after seating the tank
- removed and reinserted the float
- turned off machine and left unplugged for more than 5 minutes

I called the help center and after they asked me a couple of questions about what I've tried, they said to send the machine back to them and they will send me a replacement in 2 weeks. I told them I will likely just return it to Amazon for a replacement since they shipped it to me in 3 days.

I'm thinking either there is an air lock somewhere inside the water line or pump or that the float sensor is either disconnected or not working properly. Anybody ever opened one of these things up?

Anybody have any other suggestions?
