The only coffee or espresso discs sold in the US I am aware of that are a larger size are the Starbucks ones. The cappuccino and latte milk discs, as well as the Suchard hot chocolate, are also a thicker disc.

Internationally, the Trio discs (3 small cups for a small pot) and the Jacobs Crema XL discs may be bigger, but I haven't actually seen them. The Starbucks discs sold in Europe produce a smaller cup of coffee than in the US and are NOT the larger size found in the US.

All that aside, though, you really shouldn't be getting grounds in your mug, and certainly the size of the disc shouldn't be causing that. Maybe you should call customer service and ask for a replacement piercing unit or do other troubleshooting. Something is amiss.

SB's African Kitamu are larger sized discs that I find myself buying more and more of. I'm really loving this coffee ; )

I live in a rural area & have to order most of my t-discs. Are there any other brands that use the large t-discs like Starbucks? The thinner discs seem prone to the grinds-in-the-mug syndrome on my machine.
Thanks!
