You can try some of the morning blends specially if you are just adding more water (2nd pass).
The Gevalia Morning Blend makes about 12oz; sometimes I think I get up to 14oz as I am using a 16oz cup and is almost to the top.
Starbucks morning Blend makes 8oz but is a little stronger than the Gevalia coffee, so you may add more water to it.

I received my system on Christmas as well. My system seems to brew about 6 oz. You can run the T-disc through twice by opening the loader and locking it down again.
My experiment has me fill one cup and then use another cup on a 2nd pass and pouring about half of that to the first. Taste fine to me. Gives me about 10 oz of coffee.
Probably works better on stronger blends but you're right....pretty expensive for just about 6 oz of coffee.

Hi, I received a Tassimo brewing system from my kids for Christmas and can't figure out how to get a full cup of coffee or hot chocolate. How many ounces of coffee is produced by one T disc? Is there a way to get this info when buying a box of discs at the store? I'm pretty frustrated with the trial and error approach. Plus I'm used to pouring a travel mug size of coffee, how do I do this? I would like to keep the system because it was a thoughtful gift, but right now I'm pretty frustrated. Help!!!
