Tassimos are currently the best constructed single serve machine on the market in my honest opinion. Bosch did a fantastic job in design and manufacturing. There's no doubt in my mind if Tassimo Companies even offered a quarter of the drink choices Keurig has, Tassimo would have been number 1!!! Unfortunately, Tassimo as it is.. is just a small division within the international world of Kraft and I believe is largely left up to Kraft's wholly owned subsidiary in another country to run. If Kraft stepped in and took more control of the Tassimo business and partnered up with other coffee companies like they did with SBuxs, and that being Kraft accepting the royalities instead of the other way around, Tassimo could have been a very big division with exceedingly strong profits, within their own international company. Unfortunately through the years we've experienced a dwindling choice of drinks that have become totally extinct, at least here in the states. Tassimo appears to cater more to France. A few premium choices are now only offered via subscription [which is a whole n'other story] and one many of us do not want to become involved in. Why should we any way? There is absolutely nothing noted in the ads or on the boxes of new Tassimos of being aka Gevalia Single Serve Hot Beverage System as I found indicated on BBB sites. To me, this is misleading. This does not mean the quality of the coffee maker is poor. Its great because its made by Bosch. Just means there is going to be more of a hook towards subscription, and I would have been made a different purchase had I known. Again, Kraft can and should maintain the Gevalia choices of coffees via subscription. There are members who enjoy DD and some who need this service. But it doesn't mean it should stop there for those of us who would like to have a wider choice of drinks and more local availability. Kraft could if they choose to and really care to listen bring on board more choices. I'm still of the opinion, and I hope I'm not wrong, that during arbitration, that a mutual agreement can be made & if SBuxs will consent under a new policy to sell their coffees to Kraft to be manufactured into T-discs. I'm hoping Kraft considers other companies to do the same. The keurig mutiny is not going to die as they take over the market because Keurig is progressive. Something Kraft could have done with a lot less choices. News has it Keurig is teaming up with Lavazza to develop and market a single serve brewer that will accept both capsules and K-cups. That means a quality machine that will make top notch expressos & drinks and you can make sure Keurig will see that these expressos will be available along with the K-cups locally. With this future machine that will have higher bars of pressure you will have the best of both worlds, a myriad of choices of caps, lattes, coffees, teas, and chocolates. Again, this could have easily been Tassimo with even less choices. I'm thinking single serve coffee brewer companies, and Tassimo doesn't stand alone in this regard, that have primarily based their drink choices via online subscription and/or kept their choices of drinks "limited" to different countries are going to suffer badly when this baby comes out.

I love coffee but I'm all about variety. I want more choices. I would love to try a white chocolate-raspberry or dark chocolate-raspberry. Even just plain raspberry. I could go on and on. I've got plenty of ideas. I work at a hospital and all we talk about it coffee. Here lately all I talk about is Tassimo and how everybody should try it. I got a couple of my co-workers to go out and try it!
