Well, I've set up a new site and message board that will hopefully draw in a lot of the regular posters from here, as it seems almost certain that these forums will soon be a ghost town.

the only way I was able to get in this time was to go to the site map and use the link from there.

Anyway...

The site I have set up is at http://tassimost.com, and there is a link in the menu to send you to the message boards.

It is VERY basic right now...I really just threw it together as fast as I could so that I could hopefully capture as many members from here as possible before it goes away, so don't fret too much over the design right now...it will be ever-evolving for a while!

I have some folks in mind as moderators, but if you are interested, feel free to email me either through this board or at the gmail account that is my user name.

i hope to see you all on the other side! :)

Agreed. Just about all of us are die-hards for the brewer itself, and don 't want it to become solely a Gevalia system. I don't think Tassimo will die out any time soon, but I do think like any new technology the time will come when other specialty single serve brewer systems will vastly improve and be made more available to the customers in the U.S., including more choices for beverages.

Wow, forums going down, too? You'd think they'd use this forum for direction for customer wants. From what I've read, it falls on deaf ears. There's a lot of negativity, but I think most love the machines, but don't like the direction this company is going and are skeptical of the future of the Tassimo because of it.

I had that experience yesterday morning, and thought this forum was down for good. Yahoo groups are easy to start up and manage by the by. Yep, keep me posted.

"@tassimo What's the deal with the Tassimo Community Forum being taken off line? At least the link is not there from the home page."

No Answer from the Tweet man. :_|

this is weird, not sure why it posted with yesterday's date.

Apparently they don't like the critical dialog. But, there's always Facebook.

Hosts - If you think that people are saying naughty things now, just wait until we're forced to share our thoughts on Facebook.

My guess is they (Tassimo/Kraft) would like to do away with the message board.

this morning, the message board link in the main menu had been replaced by "Raves and Faves", which turned up a page not found error, for many of us. Since then, they've made the "raves and faves" link just go to the message boards again.

the folks who DID see the new page reported that it said:

Discover a whole new way to connect with the Tassimo community. Share your passion, your thoughts and opinions in an exciting new forum that will soon replace our Message Boards.

What this says to me...well, to all of us, I guess...is that the message boards are on the way out, in favor of some new system.

I've seen the question and answer section, and I've seen the new reviews area, and I've contributed several reviews already...and while both are great additions to the site, they simply cannot take the place of an open forum like this one to exchange information and ideas.

if that happens, i think that we'll need a new place to reconnect...i'm working to try and make that happen, and i'll keep you posted, if anyone is interested.
