Oh there are indeed very good, strong, intenso, X2 and X3 expressos, italian, and french roasts. Check this out: France http://www.tassimo.fr/boutique/t-discs/929 UK http://www.tassimo.co.uk/shop/t-discs/929 But yep, only sold in those two countries. Why? No one has as yet given me a good reason why the States don't have those coffees. Every time a new flavor or type of coffee is introduced it is introduced in the Maxwell House or Gevalia brand, with the exception of SBuxs [and who knows how long SB will be with us]. Even if SB is to stay with Tassimo, I'd much rather see Tassimo bring over to the states the Carte Noires and the Mastro Lorenzo, the the Cote D'ore, the different teas. I really prefer not to see another MH or G associated with Creme Brulee, Tiramisu, etc. There has to be a reason the UK and France have little if any MH or G coffees, don't ya think. My goodness, why would they want those two brands when they have more of the champaign coffees LOL ; ) I asked Tassimo CS why they don't pull a switch give all our MH and G to the UK and France, and bring us those Carte Noires and Mastro Lorenzos Any way many of us are writing Tassimo CS [who so far has not given me a really good response to my emails, normally its someone will respond in 12 hours but never does] and directly to Bosch [who's responses have been a lot more forthcoming. I think they want to know how consumers feel. This is a reflection on their business as well] to bring those coffees to the states, "and" to design an optional refillable disk so we can at least be able to use our machines with our own coffee choices also use different milks. There's a nifty beverage recommender here on this site (http://www.tassimodirect.com/BeverageRecommenderPage.aspx). Give that a try. It will come back with discs Tassimo carries that fit your requirements.

looking for stronger coffee, I usually grind and brew my own coffee, however my husband bought me this Tassimo fro my birthday. I love the concept but really rely on my stronger coffee and prefer the taste. Any French or Italian Roast out there? CCardenas
