My Boschs brew very hot drinks, especially my T-65. When I make SB Lattes & Caps, the drinks are so hot you have to wait quite a while before drinking when home. Normally, I tolerate hot drinks very well, but this is over the edge hot moreso after descaling. The older Braun I had brewed caps & lattes that had more of a tendency to go cooler faster, so I was surprised by this difference. Then again all that was available in caps and lattes were MH & G caps & lattes when I got the Braun. Before taking a mug to work, I do heat up my SB insulated mug with hot water, empty, then brew two expressos, one milk, and the coffee is still hot when I get to work. I live in the snowy, cold NE of the USA. I do notice regular coffees have a tendency to get cooler quicker, but I'm a coffee drinker and drink before that happens ; )

It is a challenge - even if the drink is at the "right" temp out of the brewer (the bar codes are supposed to control this), as soon as they hit the cup they start to cool.
You probably do this as well, but I always warm my cup or mug too (fill with very hot or boilng water) before I brew.

My latte and cappuccino drinks are not hot enough for my taste. When I make my drinks, I usually add a bit of milk anyway, so I heat the milk in a microwave first. This does scald the milk, but what else can I do? I've tried soaking my creamer disc in hot water, but that really does not make a difference. I also heat the flavored syrup in the microwave before adding. Regardless, by the time, I make my drink and get into my car to go to work, the drink is already too cool. I usually heat up the drink at work in a microwave and know this is just not the way an espresso drink should be manipulated!
