I actually bought a pack of the Gevalia espresso at BBB and I thought it was pretty good. My next direct delivery order is set to have a ML espresso and a CN espresso. I'm sure these two will become my favorites!!!

I'm currently waiting for my 2 free packs for registering my new machine (PLEASE HURRY, TASSIMO!!), and I picked up the Carte Noir to try out, and then I signed up for the direct delivery service and threw in a couple of packs of the ML Espresso, so I'm excited to see how they are, since that's primarily why I got the machine.
The first drink I made with it was simply the espresso pod from a Starbucks cappuccino pack...no milk...and it was VERY good, in my opinion. In fact, I did the same with the Maxwell House cappuccino pack...made a double shot of espresso...and didn't use the milk pod...and it was an OK espresso, actually.
I bought the Maxwell House cappuccino kit to hold me over until my shipment arrives, since it is a few dollars cheaper than the Starbucks kit. I'm finding that it is a good choice for adding a shot of espresso to a dark cup of coffee to sort of "beef it up". Plus, you get 8 milk discs with it for the same price that you'd pay for the package of milk pods alone, so it is sort of a no brainer to get it when you are in need of more milk pods....it is like getting the coffee for free.
I'll be posting a review of the espresso pods when they arrive...can't wait!!

I enjoy their crema as well. When I'm in the mood for a short cup of good coffee I reach for the ML crema or the Carte Noir Voluptuoso. Hope you enjoy their espresso as much as I do. I tend to make my Starbucks lattes a double everytime and use the ML Espresso to finish off the Starbucks latte milk discs.

Flattop, thanks for the recommendation!!! I figured that ML's espresso was a pretty safe bet considering how much I enjoy their crema. Thanks for the link to the review as well!!!

I have tried them all and have to say the Mastro Lorenzo is the best of the espresso t-discs out there. I don't see Amazon carrying it so I think you'll have to order it from TassimoDirect. Here's a link to a review of the ML espresso. http://www.singleservecoffee.com/archives/023506.php

Hi rdbgator,
Welcome to our community, I am sure everyone would love to share there recommendations. I am not a huge fan of espresso so I can't help you there but stick around awhile and you will get some great advice.

Good espresso recommendations

Hello, I am new to the community and was wondering if anyone had any good espresso recommendations? I LOVE the Mastro Lorenzo Crema, but have not tried their espresso yet. The MH espresso is not impressive by itself, as that is the only one that I've tried. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
