Here is the manual for the T45 you might have the T20 or T60, but the concepts should be similar:

The same way you can extend it for the Bolder brews if you press the button once the brew cycle is completed it will add a touch of water.

I just recently learned that you can stop a brew at any point by pressing the button. I didn't know you could do that, it has really improved my Maxwell House "large" brew since I can stop it at about 10 ounces instead of 12. Bought it because it is cheap around here and makes a bigger cup than most others - but hey, 10 ounces is a pretty good size cup of joe:)
