The more I play around with it the more I think the problem is with the magnet. Is it possible the magnetic insert has lost some of it's power and it just doesn't think there is water?

I was able to get it working (I held a kitchen magnet up to the machine when starting it) and it worked. I descalled the machine then put clean water in and started it. The machines been blinking since and I can't get the magnet trick to work (assuming that even did anything).

Edit: Found a big magnet and got it working.

So all lights are blinking. I've gone through all the possibilities in the guides I've been able to find. It's been too long since we descalled last and I believe this to be the issue.

However, how do I descale if I can't get water to run through the machine?

Am I looking at having to take the machine apart to really clean it out?
