Yep, those pesky discs sometimes are designed to make different amounts of coffee. Espressos produce the smallest quantities, and the blends tend to produce the larger quantities.

I think hoping aroud all the different T-Discs confused me. I only use the Maxwell Morning Blend on my way to work to fill my tavel mug. I made a few Mastro Lorenzo Cremas (great coffee just by itself) and when I went back to Seattle's Best I thought I was getting less coffee. Well, I checked and I still get 8 ounces of the Seatlle's Best and 12 ounces of Maxwell Morning Blend as we should. I think (I'm hoping anyway) that I was confused becaue I was adding cream to make latte for my wife and that was filling the cups. Oops.

That's a great idea. Also, you could give support a call at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271) to see if they have any tips or ideas what could be wrong.

I rinse the piercing unit every day. I went ahead and did the descaling but this morning it still seemed to be giving me less coffee than before. I thought the Maxwell House mornig blend used to fill up my travel mug but that I'm getting just over half. I also noticed (I think) less coffee in my regular mugs brewing SB house blend and Seatle's Best breakfast blend. I'll try to find how much coffee each T-Disc should be given me and check that way.

Also try washing the piercing unit.

I made 2 different types of coffees, one last night and one this morning, and they both seem to produce less coffee than before. I assume this is due to the machine needing to be descaled. I thought the descale light would let me know when it was time. Has anyone experienced getting less coffee without the descale light comin on?
