Customer service, a joke!?

I contacted the customer service department three times in the last few days:

1) to inform them that they have a bug in their system. I got a notice saying that my direct order had been shipped to X address (which we moved from over a year ago) despite the fact that the UPS link showed that the item was being delivered to address Z (the correct one). Their answer? please give us your current address so that we can update our file.

2) to ask where I could send my barely two yr old Braun machine that stopped functioning to be recycled. Their answer? we don't know.

3) to ask them why I could not register my new Bosch machine, inc. all the info they request to register to verify that I wasn't entering something wrong. Their answer? We don't know, call... never mind that when I tried calling before emailing I was in the queue to talk to someone for 10 minutes before I gave up.

I've been a loyal customer for over two years. I called customer service when my first machine gave up and I didn't bat a lash when I was told (by a customer rep' who obviously was in India) I'd have to pay for the repair because I was less than a week past the 2 year mark. As a matter of fact, I told them I'd just buy a new one.

I am extremely disappointed in their customer service - or rather lack thereof!

Am I just having bad luck or is their customer service down in the dumps???
