I've had both Gevalia's Signature Roast & Morning Blend. Both are fairly poor. I will not be getting those again.

The only Gevalia that I like is the French Vanilla. The Hazelnut is OK, but the Signature Blend and the Crema are poor......in my opinion.

This brew is definitely an acquired taste. I have to use heavy cream to make it drinkable.
as I finally came to my last T-disc on this brew; I only put barely any creamer; I can agree with you! It really does have a taste like a old cigar. Not buying this one again.

LOL,LOL,LOL Its the coffee. I was LMAO when I heard about the sinus infection. Givalias coffee has that tast. I am going to try another brand.

You're not going crazy... and it's not your nose...
The coffee does taste like wet cigarrettes!!! I googled it and that's how I found this comment thread!
I think it's the gevalia signature blend.... It's horrible!My wife, myself, and anyone that we've had over that tasted the coffee agree. The capuccino's are good.... so I believe that it has to be the gevalia brand coffee.
Does Folgers make a T disc? At least we know they know how to make a good cup of coffee.

You might also try using filtered bottled water. Even though the Tassimo filters the water, our tap water imparts a taste at certain times of the year that affects the coffee flavor. It's not exceptionally strong, but vivid nevertheless.

Just had the Tassimo 6 weeks now, but can try descaling. All other drinks like Tea, Cappacinos, and lattes are fine.
Never smoked, (Or tried wet cigarettes ) and healthy. Thanks for the replies. Maybe changing filter will help?

Are you a smoker? You may have a sinus infection and it has nothing to do with your machine.

I have been enjoying my new Tassimo, but recently the coffee tastes like wet cigarette. The machine is cleaned after every use. And I tried many different flavors. Any help?
