Okay, I followed the good advice I got here and called Direct and they are indeed shipping one out to me for $5 (they say). Funny that the website asks you to pay like $9 to ship it - doesn't seem right.

I'm not sure, but you can call Customer Service to see if they know. You can use the same T-Discs in each type of unit, though, so I suspect they would be interchangeable... again, though, I don't know for certain.

I lost mine a few months ago. I called customer service - and they shipped me out a new one totally FREE. No cost at all.
Don't ask me how - but a few months prior to that we lost the piercing part. I think it got stuck in a pod that we threw out. Same drill - customer service sent me a new one completely free.

Also, according to another member on another thread, if you use direct delivery and spend over $30, your shipping is free as well. So if you're already close to $30, you can add the part and get the shipping free on the entire order.

you can order directly from tassimodirect without paying for shipping if thats only for the cleaning disc. i've ordered just a sparepart before and there was no shipping. order over the phone

Thanks for the suggestion about the combined ship-- I buy locally so it hadn't occurred, I will consider that option. eBay does have couple but same deal on the shipping...

I don't know if this would apply to your situation, but next time you do a coffee order, add the cleaning disc to the order--shipping won't be as much as when you order saparately. That's what I do when I need a new filter, etc.

Hello-
Does anyone have any insight as to how I might go about replacing a lost cleaning disk without paying nutty shipping prices? I know they can't give them away, but I can't bring myself to pay $12 for a $5 item after all is said and done. If anyone happens to have an extra one of these, I'd love to purchase it from you---
