I just made an Eggnog Latte using both my Tassimo and my Froth au Lait. I used a Gevalia expresso disk in this drink, but prefer to use SBux ; ) The clear latte cup used here is a larger one. Normally I make it machiatto style but I forgot to add some of the loose eggnog along with the froth before I brewed the expresso. I ended up adding some loose eggnog after the brew was done, so it diluted the normal tri-level appearance. Opps:O Notice how thick the froth is, almost like a meringue and it lasts and lasts.

Carole, there are some great recipes right here on the Tassimo site as well
http://www.tassimodirect.com/more-from-tassimo/recipes.aspx

Edited to add: Here is another page where Tassimo brewed expresso or other coffees can be used in some real nice dishes and desserts:

Not all recipes contain coffee, but as you go through the pages many do. Also there are several different coffee recipes where you can substitute Tassimo coffees easily as you go through the pages as well. There's a Dublin Coffee that I'd love to try ; )

LOL ; ) If you have a frother, froth up some fresh eggnog, then brew up two expressos into your cup of froth latte macchiato style. There is usually some loose milk in a latte. This will flavor the coffee and give you a nice eggnog flavored froth. Pretty to look at too ; ) One of these days I'll have to take pictures of these.

With my mocha lattes, I usually add a heaping tsp of powdered Godiva or Bellagio in half and half and place in the microwave till quite hot. Then I brew the expresso over the brewed chocolate, while I froth up fat free milk with a little very thinly grated white chocolate in my froth au lait. I love this one this best ; )

Anyone have any good recipe ideas for Christmas? I'm brand new to Tassimo (haven't opened the box yet) and know NOTHING. I remember seeing an egg nog coffee recipe on this site somewhere, but can't find it anymore. SO... back to the original question: Anyone have any good recipe ideas for Christmas? Ho ho ho!!
